Revital-Eyes

Revital-Eyes was tested to evaluate its effects on the viability of normal human dermal fibroblasts (NDHF). At concentrations of 0.1% and 0.01%, Revital-Eyes, nor the preservatives contained therein exhibited any inhibition of cell viability. It can therefore be concluded that at normal use concentrations Revital- Eyes is not cytotoxic.

As evidenced in a 4-week efficacy study of Revital-Eyes on skin, skin density was improved by 3.00% after one week and by 14.66% after 4 weeks when compared to the untreated control. When compared to the base cream Revital-Eyes improved skin density by 3.09% better than the base lotion after four weeks. Results indicate that Revital-Eyes is capable of improving skin density when compared to both the untreated control as well as the base lotion. Revital-Eyes has a strong positive effect on skin’s density when used at recommended use levels.

Revital-Eyes exhibited anti-inflammatory effects on LPS-treated fibroblasts. This decrease in IL-6 production indicates a reduced inflammatory environment, which could decrease the signs of aging and reduce the formation of fine lines and wrinkles. It can therefore be concluded that at normal use concentrations, Revital-Eyes enhances soothing and anti-aging properties.

Revital-Eyes exhibited anti-aging by decreasing under eye bags and dark circles. This product was designed to have anti-aging, anti-wrinkle, and lifting properties. With this study, we can confirm that Revital-Eyes is also able to diminish the appearance of under eye bags and dark circles.

Taken together, these data indicate Revital-Eyes augments endothelial cell permeability by beneficially altering the signaling molecules released by fibroblasts. Collectively, Revital-Eyes improves vascular integrity, diminishing the appearance of dark circles and discoloration under the eyes.
